The organized labour has directed its affiliates to implement the resolutions of the National Executive Council. TUC President, Festus Osifo, disclosed this information while addressing journalists on Monday. Osifo stated that the strike would continue until “government at all levels wake up to their responsibility.”

The strike, which is both total and indefinite, commenced on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. This action by the NLC and TUC underscores the serious nature of the issues at hand and the urgent need for the government to address them.
