Marlian Music boss, Azeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, has accused actress Iyabo Ojo of spreading false and defamatory content about him on the internet.
In a letter sent to the actress, Naira Marley’s lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, detailed the accusations made in a September 2023 post on Ojo’s Instagram page. The actress allegedly accused Naira Marley of engaging in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer Mohbad. Furthermore, Ojo reportedly claimed that Naira Marley caused mental harm to the late singer.

In response to these allegations, Naira Marley’s attorney is seeking a redress of N500 million from Iyabo Ojo. In addition to the financial compensation, they are demanding a public apology from the actress, which should be posted on her social media page and published in a national daily.
The letter concludes with a stern warning: failure to comply with these conditions will result in a lawsuit against the actress. As of now, Iyabo Ojo has not publicly responded to these allegations.
